ASUS has announced the release of its new gaming LCD VZ279QG1R. A 27-inch IPS liquid crystal panel with a maximum resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels is used to achieve a slim design.

The panel itself is a 7.5mm ultra-thin design with a three-sided narrow frame. The VZ279QG1R also boasts a number of advanced technologies to improve gaming performance. Supports AMD FreeSync and ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) technology to reduce motion blur and eliminate ghosting and tearing for a better visual experience. With a refresh rate of 75Hz, a response time of 1ms, a maximum brightness of 250cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 1,000:1, this display is designed for high-performance gaming.

Additionally, it includes “GamePlus” with gaming features such as crosshair, timer and FPS counter, and is TÜV Rheinland certified for flicker-free, low blue light technology. The input interface has DisplayPort 1.2 x 1, HDMI 1.4 x 1, and an earphone jack. The external dimensions are 612.6 mm wide x 213 mm deep x 431 mm high x 3.9 kg in weight.
